Joanna Medrano

Attorney

I have been an attorney for over ten years. I first began practicing law in New York serving low-income clients at a non-profit. Since then, I have moved to the Southwest and been admitted in Arizona since 2015. Over the last eight years, my career has allowed me to work in law schools, teach, and continue to practice law, which is what I love to do. In 2020, I joined the Attorney General’s Child Protective Services Division, where I represented the Department of Child Safety in a variety of termination and dependency proceedings. In 2021, I began working in private practice on family law including Dissolution, paternity, child support, grandparents’ rights, modifications and enforcements, juvenile dependency actions, and more. My key to success is open client communications and building trust.

While I am originally from Brooklyn, NY, I enjoy the beautiful Phoenix weather and look forward to year round sunshine! In my spare time, I like to read science-fiction, watch comedy, and spend lots of time with my family. I look forward to meeting and representing you in your family law case.
